City Announces Waste Management Higher Education Scholarship Winners
There were three winners of the scholarships.

WOBURN, MA — The City of Woburn has announced the winners of the Waste Management Higher Education Scholarships, giving three students each a $1,000 scholarship from Waste Management.
The winners of the scholarships are as follows:
- Mackenzie Doherty: Bentley University, Accounting
- Allison Maloof: Fitchburg Nursing Program
- Joel Zeleya: Middlesex Community College, Criminal Justice Program.
Winners were drawn at random from more than 50 qualifying applicants. Eligible students must be Woburn residents and enrolled in a two-year and four-year college, university, trade school or the U.S. Military.
