Woburn City Council Approves Warehouse Occupancy for Granite Firm
International Stone, Inc. will occupy approximately half of the warehouse on Normac Road.

A Woburn-based Granite company will be taking over half of the warehouse on Normac Road.
Woburn City Council voted to allow International Stone, Inc. to move into half of the 32,000-square-foot warehouse located at 3-15 Normac Road, as confirmed by Woburn City Clerk William Campbell. The conditions that were added to the permit are as follows:
• Submission of a snow storage plan with the city’s Inspectional Services Dept.;

• The dumpster must be enclosed with a 6-foot sight-impervious fence;
• Loading activities and hours of operations will be limited to between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

• All signage must comply with the regulations in the city’s zoning code, and is subject to approval by the Dept, of Municipal Inspections.
• The permit is applicable to International Stone only and cannot be transferred.
• There will be no outside storage.
Five of the above conditions were suggested by the Woburn Planning Department. The permit was filed today after the decision and the permit will issue on Jan. 28 barring any appeal, as confirmed by Campbell.
