City Of Woburn: Outdoor Dining 2021

The city of Woburn is making attempts to streamline the process so establishments can offer outdoor dining as soon as practical.

If your establishment was approved for outdoor dining in 2020 and you are making no changes to the seating plan, you may resume outdoor dining in 2021.

If your establishment was approved for outdoor dining in 2020 and you are making changes to the seating plan, the revised plan must be approved by the Building Commissioner and the Mayor. Please submit revised seating plans to the License Commission

If your establishment did not offer outdoor dining in 2020 but would like to in 2021, applications are attached. If you are planning to add seating on the sidewalk or any other public property, please use the application entitled “Application for Expansion of Premises on Sidewalks/Public Ways.” If you are planning to use only private property, please use the application entitled “Application for Expansion of Premises.” Please note a seating plan must be submitted with all applications.
