Dave and Buster's Comes to Woburn, Two Residents Arrested in Anti-Drug Operations: Woburn Patch 2015 Year in Review

Two Woburn Residents were among the 22 arrested in what the Lawrence police are calling a “major anti-drug operation” in June. Police seized various bags of heroin and nearly $40,000 during the operation.

2. Two from Woburn Arrested During Major Heroin Busts: Charlene Berrigan and Bryan Perry of Woburn were one of 22 people arrested as a part of the Lawrence Police’s “major anti-drug operation” in June. As stated above, Police arrested 22 people spanning across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
3. Woburn Woman Indicted on Attempted Murder Charge: Melissa Buono, 20, of Woburn was indicted on attempted murder charges in September stemming from an incident earlier this year. Buono allegedly was involved in beating a woman and dumping her into a swamp.
4. Over 25 Years Later, Case for Missing Woburn Teen Re-Opened: The Woburn Police re-opened the missing persons case revolving then-14-year-old Melanie Melanson in August. Police had finally gained access to a backyard that they previously were unable to search due to a change of ownership.
5. 2 Dead After Motorcycle, Car Crash on Route 9: A Fourth of July motorcycle accident left two dead and one injured when the motorcycle collided with the rear end of a Toyota Corolla. The driver of the Corolla was uninjured.
6. Undercover Operation in Woburn Nets 6 Drug Arrests: Six people were arrested in January as a result of an undercover drug operation by the Woburn Police. Two dealers and four “customers” were brought into custody.
7. Car Crash Decimates Xpress Fuel and Auto: Xpress Fuel and Auto suffered signifcant structural damage when a car collided with the building back in February. A firefighter tweeted that a double overdose was connected to the incident.
