Dean's List: Woburn Students Honored for Academic Achievement

WOBURN, MA—Four Woburn students were honored for their academic achievements Monday.

Woburn residents John Cordero (Class of 2019), Samantha DiMauro (Class of 2017) and Marissa McLellan (Class of 2016) of Assumption College; and Sabrina O’Neil of Hofstra University were named to their school’s Dean’s List for the Fall semester, according to press releases on Monday.

Hofstra students must maintain a 3.5 grade point average, and Assumption College students must maintain a 3.5 average with at least 15 credit hours to be considered for the Dean’s List.

“Earning a position on the Dean’s List is a testament to hard work, a sharp mind, and a commitment to academic excellence,” said Assumption College President Francesco Cesareo, Ph.D. said in the release.“These students’ dedication to their studies reflects the seriousness with which they take the formation of their intellectual and academic lives, an important aspect of the College’s mission.”
