Dedham Man Indicted For Pimping From Woburn Hotel
James Ferriter, 55, of Dedham, was among the recent list of indictments released by the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

WOBURN, MA -- The Middlesex County District Attorney's office indicted an alleged pimp who went by the name of "Ghost" following an investigation by Woburn Police at a local hotel. James Ferriter, 55, of Dedham, was charged with two counts of trafficking of a person for sexual servitude and deriving support from prostitution.
On April 2, while conducting surveillance at a hotel, Woburn police conducted "John stops" of customers and learned that a 34-year-old woman was offering sexual services for a fee from the hotel. From there they learnd that Ferriter transported the woman to locations throughout Massachusetts and advertised her as an escort on Web sites, including Craigslist and Backpage. He instructed the woman on what fees to charge and took photos of her for the advertisements.
According to the Middlesex District Attorney's office, Ferriter threatened the woman and served as a source of drugs for her.
