WOBURN, MA—Donald D. Demasi, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 3 in Danvers. He was 67 years of age.
Raised and educated in Woburn, Mr. Demasi was proud lifelong resident of the city. He worked for many years as a newspaper printer both locally and in Boston. When he was not working, he could be found fishing; one of his favorite pastimes. Donald spent many hours fishing local ponds and lakes but especially enjoyed trips on Boston Harbor. He was a passionate pool player and would take on any and all challengers. A wonderful cook, he took great pleasure in cooking for his family and friends but in particular, he liked to cook with his grandchildren.
A true family man, Donald always put others before himself. He was always finding ways to help his family and friends and would never hesitate to help those in need. He made those around him feel special; to know Donald was to know that you had a true friend. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
