Downpours, Thunderstorms Expected Tuesday in Woburn

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to move through the Middlesex County area on Tuesday.

Don’t dare to leave the house Tuesday without an umbrella in hand. Showers, heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected to linger in the Middlesex County area throughout the day.

Storms are expected to ramp up around the lunchtime hour. The threat for thunderstorms will remain through the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Forecasters say the storms could bring heavy downpours at times, with the possibility for multiple inches of rain.
