Drone Video Offers Cool Views Of Woburn's Horn Pond

Check out the snowy, aerial views of one of the favorite haunts for Woburn walkers.

WOBURN, MA -- Anthony Giglio of the Woburn Public Media Center apparently has acces to a new toy. The center posted video footage of Horn Pond shot by Giglio using a drone on its Facebook page Wednesday. The footage offers a unique perspective to anyone familiar with one of Woburn's most popular destinations for walking, running and fishing.

The 287-foot Mount Towanda on the west side of the pond was once used as a ski area. The 102-acres of water remains frozen after last week's cold snap, but fire departments throughout the region are warning that any body of water is unsafe to traverse with this week's thaw.
