Dunkin' Plans To Open Commerce Way Store In Woburn
A franchise operator wants to open a 2,000-square-foot store near a busy intersection and the Anderson Regional Transportation Center.

WOBURN, MA -- Quinn Management of New Hampshire wants to open a Dunkin Donuts on Commerce Way, close to the Anderson Regional Transportation Center. At 2,000-square-feet, the store would be big by coffee shop standards. Woburn City Council continued a hearing on the proposal last month until May 15 as the developer of the store works to answer questions from the city planning department.
If approved, the store would occupy space in the Bryant Northeast building at 130 Commerce Way. The parcel sits on the intersection of Commerce Way, Atlantic Avenue, Presidential Way and the on-ramps to Route 93. It's unclear what impact the proposal would have on an existing Dunkin Donuts inside the nearby Anderson facility.
The plan calls for 27 parking spots on the property dedicated for the store's use. There are, however, a number of traffic concerns City Council wants addressed, given the busy intersection the proposed store abuts.
