UPDATE: Elderly Man Found After Disappearing Monday Morning

Paolo Pinto's family reports the elderly man was found at 10 p.m.

10 p.m.—Just 45 minutes after announcing an elderly man had been missing for 14 hours, the man's family reported he was found.

According to Paolo Pinto's goddaughter, Daniela Pellegrini, the elderly man was found in the town of Lincoln at 10 p.m.

Pellegrini said police believe he walked along Route 2 all day and into Lincoln.

Pinto told family Monday night that he got "lost" and was "tired" and "want[ed] to sleep" after his long day.

9:15 p.m.—An elderly man has been missing since 8 a.m. Monday morning and is still missing at this time, said Woburn Police.

According to WPD Det. Ralph Coakley, Paolo Pinto is a senior citizen who suffers from dementia. He was last seen walking in the area of Fletcher and School streets 13 hours ago.

Pinto is described as a white man, approximately 5-feet 7-inches and weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a black and red plaid jacket, jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap.

Pinto does not drive a car, said police.

Pinto's goddaughter, Daniela Pellegrini, said family has been searching for the elderly man all night.

"We're worried something might have happened to him," she said Monday night.

Pellegrini and family members walked all over the city Monday night, including around Horn Pond looking for Pinto.

"Please help us find him," said Pellegrini, who said family is distraught with worry for Paolo.
