English At Large to Benefit from Stop&Shop Community Bag Program
Each bag purchased at the Woburn Stop & Shop during the month of July directly benefits English At Large!

Shop the Woburn Stop & Shop to support programs for local immigrants!
English At Large has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of July. The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
English At Large was selected as the July beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the
Stop & Shop located at 2 Elm Street, Woburn.
For the entire month of July, English At Large will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during July, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“We are thrilled to be selected by the Woburn Stop & Shop to benefit from this program.” said Maureen Willis, Executive Director of English At Large. "The funds raised through through the sale of these bags will help sustain local programs that empower immigrants to achieve their full potential here in the U.S."
English At Large, based in Woburn, is a nonprofit that provides individual and small group instruction through a volunteer network to adult immigrants who need to learn English and gain cultural understanding in order to achieve their life goals. Through the efforts of more than 200 volunteers, local learners have access to services that give them the knowledge, skills and support they need to secure meaningful employment, advance their career, begin job training or education, access community resources and begin a path to citizenship.
