Free Holiday Handbell Concert

HOLIDAY HANDBELL CONCERTS--The Handbell Choirs of Hancock United Church of Christ, 1912 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington Center will present two Holiday Concerts this year.

On Friday, December 16 from 10-11 am The Morning Glory Ringers, the intermediate level handbell choir, will present the second annual Weekday Holiday Concert, playing on 4 octaves of bells and chimes. This concert is designed for seniors, assisted living facilities, and families with preschoolers who prefer a weekday morning venue.

The theme for the concerts is “Holiday Music Across the Ages” and includes secular, sacred, and classical pieces for music lovers of all faiths and cultures. MC, Deb Holland, will delight you with tantalizing tidbits about the music while the bells fill your heart with their magical sounds. After each concert, you are invited to come forward to get a closer look at the bells and chimes.
