Joan’s Jaunt is a 5 mile road race and 3 mile fitness walk sponsored by the Shamrock Running Club in memory and celebration of one of our founding members, Joan Curran. Joan was a dedicated and tenacious runner whose memory is an inspiration to all runners. Joan loved running and trained and completed the Boston Marathon while undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. Proceeds from this race will be donated to the American Cancer Society and Joan’s favorite charity, The Home for Little Wanderers.
