North Suburban Y Get Fit Give Back Campaign

The North Suburban YMCA is teaming up with the Woburn Council of Social Concern to support healthy living and fight hunger this fall through the “Get Fit, Give Back” campaign. From October 28 through November 1, new members who bring in five non-perishable food items will have their $50 YMCA joiner fee waived and receive 3 free sessions of health & wellness coaching, valued at $150. Current members who donate will be entered into a raffle for great prizes.

As a cause-driven organization, the Y is committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. “A strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors,” says Cheryl Sheldon, Membership Director at the North Suburban YMCA. “We hope that through ‘Get Fit, Give Back’ people are encouraged to take a step towards a healthier life and to also help a neighbor in need.”
