Sea Dog Woburn is rolling out the ultimate game day destination as the Patriots take on the Raiders Sunday, October 2. Combining three of America’s favorite pastimes: tailgating, BBQ, and football, Sea Dog Woburn is calling all Pats fans to determine who is king of the grill with their first annual Patriots Tailgate BBQ Contest.
Stop by Sea Dog Woburn to fill out an entry form and put your pig-skin culinary skills to the test as contestants face off on the grill with chicken, ribs, and burgers. Judges will be on hand grading each item on presentation, taste, and tenderness.
For those who pride themselves more on the ability to consume food than to produce it, Sea Dog will also be holding a wing-eating contest accompanied by live music from the Chad Lamarsh Band.
The first place winner of the BBQ contest will receive a VIP package for two to a Patriots game including club seats, open bar and parking passes. Second prize includes two tickets to a Patriots game and the third place winner will be awarded an authentic signed Wes Welker Jersey.
Cooking teams begin setting up: 9:30 am
Wing eating contest: 1 pm
BBQ judging begins: 3 pm
