Special Local Screening – “Age of Champions,” Proves Winning Never Gets Old

Age of Champions is the uplifting story of a group of athletes—a 100-year-old Massachusetts tennis player, 86-year-old pole vaulter, swimming brothers, and a team of basketball grandmothers—all chasing a dream at the National Senior Games. The film premiered to a standing ovation at the prestigious 2011 Silverdocs Film Festival and the Washington Post called it “infectiously inspiring.”

BrightView Country Club Heights, 3 Rehabilitation Way, Woburn MA, will present the film on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 3:00PM to 4:30PM.  The film runs 70 minutes and a discussion will take place following the film.  “Age of Champions illustrates a vibrant lifestyle that we promote and encourage for our residents”, stated Jean DeThomas Executive Director Country Club Heights.
