The 1st annual "George Berardi Woburn Little League Showcase

The Jimmy Fund Presents:
The 1st annual "George Berardi Woburn Little League Showcase Sunday!"
Sunday, June 24th with activities from 11:00AM-7:30PM

A full plate of events, fun for the whole family!  There will be all sorts of activities, music, dunk tank, $2 food tickets which include a drink, chips and your choice of either a
hot dog or a hamburger.  Not to mention 3 baseball games on Weafer 1, as well as a softball game and 3 kickball games up on Weafer 2

Players are asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to their game start time, and encouraged to stay throughout the day after their games are done.  Players playing later in the day are encouraged to come early and stay the whole day!

11:00AM-1:00PM-AAA Baseball Showcase game

1:00PM-3:00PM Major Baseball 10/11 year old AL vs NL

3:00PM-5:00PM-Skills competition, including Accuracy throw to the dunk tank, and a home run derby

5:00PM-Major baseball 12 year olds AL vs NL

 

Weafer 2

11:00AM-12:30PM-Hit and  Run Softball game featuring a live PA announcer to announce the players

12:30PM-2:00PM-8+9 year old softball players vs parents/special persons (ie:cousin, uncle, guardian, etc..)kickball game

2:00PM-3:30PM- 10/11 year old softball players vs parents/special persons kickball game

5:00PM-7:00PM-12 year old softball players vs parents/special persons kickball game

Dunk Tank

Tickets will be sold for the dunk tank to help raise money for the Jimmy Fund.  The skills competition portion of the dunk tank is free of charge, but the tank will be up and running and available for anyone to buy some balls to throw throughout the day.

 

The Dunk Tank schedule is as follows

11:00AM-2:30PM-open to anyone who wishes to buy tickets

2:45PM-3:30PM-Reserved for Skills competition

3:45PM-7/7:30PM-open to anyone who wishes to buy tickets

Currently scheduled to be in the dunk tank and open to the public: Dave Hill, vice president of Woburn Little League, as well as the manager of the Major baseball Red Sox;  Mike Doherty, Manager of the Major baseball Cubs; Tom Skeffington, Board member as well as the coach of the Major Softball Phillies.  If you would like to volunteer to be in the dunk tank, contact Dave Hill @dehhilljr@msn.com
