"She is the kindest person I've ever been blessed to know," said her sister.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn resident Maura Killilea has extended a helping hand to many , and in her time of need, residents are banning together to return the favor.
Killilea, 45, has been battling Scleroderma, a rare disease that involves the hardening and tightening of tissue in the body, for the past four years. Recently, the disease has caused her to develop a form of metastatic cancer, one that will require her to undergo expensive radiation and chemotherapy treatments, according to her sister Erin Cronin.
"She is the kindest person I've ever been blessed to know," wrote Cronin in the gofundme's description.
