Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path. Residents from all towns and communities are welcome to recycle. The event will be rain or shine. Computer hard drives will be destroyed during the recycling process, but can be removed on-site at the event for an additional charge. Cash payment is preferred, but checks will be an acceptable form of payments over $30.

Experience an evening of choral music with the Reading Community Singers, featuring a 70-person chorus, led by Artistic Director Elijah Botkin and accompanist Joe Beninati,&nbsp;along with a 5-piece band.RCS will be performing a “timeless” selection of music, including Cindy Lauper’s “Time After Time”, “Seasons of Love” from Rent, Irving Berlin’s classic “Blue Skies”, as well a Medley from “Wicked”.
