George Floyd Mural In Woburn Defaced
A mural of George Floyd in the tunnel under I-93 was found defaced, Monday.

WOBURN, MA — A Woburn mural of George Floyd was found defaced, Monday. The mural, which was painted shortly after Floyd's death in the walking/cycling tunnel under I-93 at the Stoneham line, had its face painted over with white paint.
A local photographer found the defacement when he went to take a picture of the mural. He shared a photo in the local residents Facebook group, where commenters expressed their horror. White paint obscures both Floyd's face and his name.
The mural, with an unknown artist, appeared shortly after Floyd's death. The mural features Floyd's face and the words "Justice 4 Big Floyd."
