
Wednesday, 3:10 p.m. — Woburn Police reopened Green Street just after 3 p.m. today after a traffic accident closed the road for nearly an hour.
NStar responded to the scene around 3 p.m. to fix the pole, which had snapped in half and was hanging on by wires. Police remain on scene to assist with traffic during the pole repairs.

Wednesday, 2:45 p.m. — Woburn Police were forced to shut down Green Street around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday after a traffic accident.
According to police, one car crashed into a pole, snapping it in half. Officers on scene said the pole was being held up only by its wires.

Police notified NStar of the emergency situation and closed the road to traffic. Several cars were diverted to Vernon Street.
At 2:40 p.m. NStar had not arrived on scene and the road remained closed.
The driver was taken to Lahey Clinic, said police. According to reports, she told officers that she felt dizzy before the crash and did not how it occurred.
