Jean A. (Murray) Robertson passed away at the Winchester Hospital, Monday, August 22nd with her husband at her side after a courageous battle. The beloved wife of Gordon Robertson she was just sixty years of age.
Born in Cambridge she was the daughter of the late George and Claire (Colwell) Murray. Raised and educated in Woburn Jean had attended and graduated from St. Charles High School along with the Class of 1969. Jean continued her education intermittently over the years while working as a Secretary. She was first a secretary at Alfred Manufacturing in Winchester then acquired a position at Koko Bodakian's where she remained for a good number of years, establishing many friendships.
In 1979 she married the gentleman who just swept her off her feet, Gordie Robertson. They journeyed together through thirty seven truly wonderful years. Sadly over the last fourteen years Jean had one battle after another with cancer. They travelled this road together, hand in hand, one appointment to the next, through each treatment plan and hospitalization.

Jean was a pretty feisty young woman who had always made the best of any situation. Jean and Gordie enjoyed many trips to Key West which was their favorite "get away." When summers rolled around it was off to the Cape enjoying the beaches and all the wonders of the Cape, traveling along in her red mustang convertible!
Chippers and Cubby were her golden retrievers whom she loved. They lived, walked and travelled together whenever the opportunity presented itself, and were a very significant part of her family.
