The meeting was hosted by Mike Raymond Chairman, Woburn Neighborhood Association and Alderman Ward 6 Eddie Tedesco. A special thanks to Tony Fiorello for the use of St Anthony’s Club. In attendance at the meeting were; State Representative Rich Haggerty, Woburn Fire Chief Adgate and Alderman at Large Concannon. Construction team members included Representatives from Allen & Major, Richard Groll Geologist, John Durkin of ONYX, Ken Smith of Main Blasting, Lawyer Paul Haverty of Woburn 38 Development, Steve Lopes from Woburn 38 Development.

The meeting began with a 30-minute slide presentation on blasting procedures which was given by Ken Smith of Main Blasting. During the meeting the construction team shared details on the following; fence construction, pre-blasting survey, blasting and rock crushing schedule, potential sale of the property and truck trips. Further explanation of these topics can be found on our Facebook page and website. Our plan for the next Neighborhood meeting will be to invite Woburn Fire Chief Adgate and Woburn Police Chief Rufo to answer questions regarding safety concerns of the residents, and will be scheduled when schedules can be coordinated.
