Lord Hobo Brewing Co. Plans to Build a 200-Seat Beer Hall in Woburn

The brewery is planing to close down its retail room to allow for the building of the 200-seat beer hall.

WOBURN, MA — Lord Hobo Brewing Company has announced plans to open up a 200-seat beer hall at its facility on Draper Street in Woburn, after Woburn City Council adopted and Mayor Scott Galvin signed an Order for a Home Rule petition allowing the city to issue a pouring license to the brewers.

On its Facebook page Saturday, Lord Hobo announced that it plans to close down its retail room at its 5 Draper Street location in order to install a 10 BBL Pilot System, install a kitchen and build out the beer hall. Lord Hobo indicated that it plans to have a pouring license by the end of the year.

Woburn City Clerk William Campbell told Patch that the order must be approved by the State Legislature and Governor Charlie Baker. If approved, the city could then issue a license to Lord Hobo upon application to the Woburn License Commission.
