Man Indicted Following Woburn Drug Investigation

Ysauli Guerrero-Baez, 25, of Lawrence, was charged with trafficking fentanyl and operating a motor vehicle to endanger.

WOBURN, MA -- A Lawrence man was ordered to surrender his passport after being indicted on charges stemming from a drug investigation on Conn Street in Woburn. The Middlesex District Attorney's office says detectives from the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force saw 25-year-old Ysauli Guerrero-Baez pull up to a residence. When Guerrero-Baez saw police, he threw a black plastic bag.

Police recovered the bag, which contained 62 grams of fentanyl. Guerrero-Baez pleaded not guilty to charges trafficking fentanyl and operating a motor vehicle to endanger. Bail was set at $30,000. He is due back in court Jan. 8.
