Meals on Wheels drivers deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors Monday-Friday for one hour between 11 am -1 pm. Our mission is to help seniors who want to age gracefully and independently within their own homes. We serve seniors in 12 communities northwest of Boston.
As a Meals on Wheels driver, you do much more than deliver a meal -- you provide friendly contact that brightens the lives of homebound seniors. Drivers serve as our eyes and ears, often reporting health and well-being concerns before they become a crisis.
Meals on Wheels is perfect to do on your own or with a friend -- you can partner to share a route or deliver on alternate weeks. However you choose to help, you will see many smiling, grateful faces among the seniors on your route.
