Obituary: Bonita "Bonnie" (Cassidy) Dickey, Proprietor of B&G Small Engine Repair in Woburn,
Married 54 Years

Bonita “Bonnie” (Cassidy) Dickey, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at her home after a brief illness on Friday, November 28. She was 71 years of age.
Born and raised in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Cassidy, and the late Helen M. (Burpee) Cassidy; and she was the wife of Richard B. Dickey. They would have celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary in January.
When her husband Richard was serving in the Army, Bonnie traveled with him around the United States to the various places he was stationed. They returned to Woburn to raise a family, where they have remained ever since. For many years, Bonnie was the proprietor of B&G Small Engine Repair in Woburn, and later in Billerica. Most of all, Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband Richard, Bonnie is survived by her children, Richard Dickey, Jr. and his wife Dona of Gilbert, AZ, Deborah Witten of Woburn, and Wayne Dickey and his wife Deborah of Billerica; her sister, Beverly Pysczynski of Woburn; and she was preceded in death by her two brothers, the late Robert Cassidy III, and the late Darrell Cassidy. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jamie Whitten, Matthew Dickey, Andrew Dickey, Joshua Dickey, Jessica Dickey, and Alycia Winn Fenner and her husband Tracy Fenner; and three great grandchildren, Cassandra Lauziere, Johnny Inconiglios, and Quinlee Dickey.
A funeral service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Wednesday, December 3 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at the Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn. Visiting hours will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4-8 pm. Contributions in Bonnie’s memory may be made to VNA Hospice Care, 100 Trade Center, G-500, Woburn, MA 01801.
