CHARLES A. “CHARLIE” STOKES, RET. WPD - of Woburn, Thursday, October 9th. Beloved husband of Janis S. (Carty) Stokes. Devoted father of Michael G. Stokes and his wife Michelle, Justine F. Aylward and her husband Jim, Steven C. Stokes, all of Woburn, Charles A. Stokes, Jr. and his wife Kristen of Wilmington, Derrick C. Stokes and his wife Anne-marie of Burlington, Colleen S. Stokes-Lilley and her husband Patrick of Woburn, and Julie A. Khourie and her husband Jason of Tewksbury. Dear brother of John Dalesio and his wife Gerry of NH and the late Domenic and Jerry Dalesio. Cherished grandfather of twenty-five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn on Tuesday, October 14th at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held DOWNSTAIRS in St. Charles Church on Monday, October 13th from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
