One day Eleanor met Ed, a young man from Woburn, and the rest was history! The two married in May of 1948 and spent the next sixty-six years devoted to one another. They made their home in Ed’s hometown of Woburn on the West Side and brought two wonderful daughters into the world. She was dedicated to her children and family and enjoyed being a homemaker. Eleanor especially cherished all the time spent in Conway at her childhood home for family vacations. As her daughters got older, and the family grew, she was delighted at becoming a grandmother to her two wonderful granddaughters.

Eleanor worked at Lahey Clinic in Burlington for many years in the accounting department. After retirement, she and Ed spent many winters in Naples, Florida enjoying the sun and warm weather. A faith-filled woman, Eleanor was a long time parishioner of St. Barbara’s and was a member of St. Barbara’s Sodality and Altar Society.
