Thomas A. Scribner, 57, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House on Saturday, March 21. He was the loving husband of Pam (Bradford) Scribner.
Born and raised in Woburn, he was the son of the late Paul C., and the late Enid A. (Nunnerley) Scribner. Tom was a graduate of the Northeast Regional Vocational Technical School in Wakefield, Class of 1975. Soon after graduation, Tom opened Salem Street Automotive in Woburn, which he owned and operated for 40 years.Tom was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking and boating, and he was a member of the Danversport Yacht Club.

In addition to his wife Pam, Tom is survived by two children, Thomas Scribner, Jr. and his wife Jen of Suwanee, Georgia; and Rachel Scribner of Woburn; and two grandchildren, Bryson and Blakeley Scribner. He is also survived by three brothers, Robert Hasselbaum and his wife Ingrid, Rick Hasselbaum and his wife Dicki, and Paul Scribner and his wife Paula; two sisters, Jannane Madison, and Trisha Ross, and her husband Doug; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Friday, March 27 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn. Visiting hours will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm, and on Friday morning, prior to the service from 10-11:00am.
