
John R. "Jack" McLaughlin, 67, a lifelong resident of Woburn and a 1962 graduate ofWoburn High School, participated in the 361st Commencement exercises at Harvard Universityon May 24th in which he was awarded his Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree.
Jack is the son of the late John R. and Mary E. (Caulfield) McLaughlin and one of six siblings, Dr. Mary M. McLaughlin, Ruth Walton, Thomas, Gerard and Kevin McLaughlin.
He is the husband of Rosemary McLaughlin and the father of three children, Sean, Paul and Lisa (McLaughlin) Charland.
Jack's studies have concentrated on the history, governments, cultures, religious diversity and international relations of the Middle East and Far East Regions, with additional focus on the dynamics of Social Revolutions and Global Terrorism.
Jack chose Chinese as his language elective and is proficient in both spoken and written Mandarin.
Jack is presently semi-retired, but plans to remain active in Consultant work.
