The seventh/eighth grade basketball champions at the Boys & Girls Club were photographed earlier this month after winning the championship.
Team Thunder was coached by Jon Morales who was "very happy and proud of his team." Team Thunder had a 6-1 record and only lost to the Clippers—the team they beat in the finals! The final championship game score was 35-28.
