Plasma Films debuts documentary tonight about Station nightclub fire survivor and Woburn resident Scotty Dunbar.

Film will be on Woburn local access cable channels and YouTube.

A new film titled “The Fire That Won’t Go Out”, written and directed by Brian Ouellette and featuring Woburn’s own Scotty Dunbar will debut tonight on Woburn local access cable channels 45 (Verizon), 22 (Comcast) and 15 (RCN) at 8:00 pm.  Scotty’s passion for music lead him to many concerts over the years including Great White at the Station Nightclub in West Warwick, RI on the night of February 20th, 2003.  This night would change his life forever as a tragic fire ignited during the band’s opening song.  The fire ultimately claimed 100 lives including the two friends Scotty was with.  Dealing with grief and survivor’s guilt, the years that followed the tragedy were somewhat chaotic as Scotty struggled to conquer his demons.  His lifelong passion for music is what helped to pull him through and is the true “fire” that won’t go out in Scotty’s heart.  Future showings will be Wednesday October 7th at 8:00 pm and Friday October 9th at 9:30 pm on local access cable.  The film will also be available on YouTube starting tonight at 8:00 pm.
