Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealers

Woburn Police and the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force arrested two Lawrence men on multiple drug dealing offenses on Friday.

Police arrested Tyron Baez-Villalobos, 29, 8 Monmouth St., Lawrence, and charged him with two counts of distributing a Class B drug and two counts of conspiracy to violate drug law and Victor De La Cruz, 29, 75 Lexington St., Apt. 2, Lawrence, and charged him with three counts of distributing a Class B drug and two counts of conspiracy to violate drug law.

Police received confidential information from an informant about drug deals involving heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine to a numbers of customers in Woburn, Stoneham, Burlington and other nearby communities.

Undercover officers conducted a controlled purchases of heroin and cocaine over the past two weeks.

On Friday, undercover officers conducted another drug buy on Main Street in Woburn. Police pulled over the vehicle a short distance away and made the arrests.
