Police Log: Break-in Reported at Dunkin' Donuts

Excerpts from the Woburn Police Department log.

Wednesday, Nov. 19

At 9:41 a.m., an employee at a Woburn business reported suspicious Internet orders. He said there are 13 separate credit card orders that may be fraudulent.

At 10:52 a.m., a Beverly woman reported that her wallet was stolen at Panera and someone used her credit card to purchase items, including coffee at Starbucks.

At 8:08 p.m., a Woburn resident reported identity fraud. He said a Florida woman contacted him about a fundraiser involving Woburn Youth Soccer, but the Woburn man said the organization is not holding a fundraiser. He said someone is using the organization to try to scam people.

At 5:06 p.m., police arrested Jared Paul Donaghey, 20, 17 Tremont St., Woburn, and charged him on a warrant for larceny more than $250 and receiving stolen property more than $250.

Friday, Nov. 21

At 1:23 a.m., police responded to an alarm at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 880 Main St. The doors were locked, but a manager called police to say that a surveillance system showed the break-in. A thief used a pry bar to open three cash registers and steal $450. Police are investigating.
