POLICE LOG: Cops Settle TV or Video Games Fight
An excerpt from the Woburn Police Department's Sept. 9-11 police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.
Sept. 9 –
At 11:10 a.m., a police officer reported witnessing a one-car accident at Lexington Street and Glenwood Avenue. According to the patrolman, he went to the scene and spoke to the driver after she struck a guardrail on Glenwood. The woman told the officer her brakes failed and she hit the guardrail as she tried to pull over. The car had not been driven in two years, reported the driver. There were no injuries.

At 3:08 p.m., police were dispatched to a four-car accident on Washington Street. According to police, a driver rear-ended a car, which caused a chain reaction. The driver at fault reversed and fled the scene toward Reading, reported police.
At 3:11 p.m., dispatch received a report of a possible abduction on Montvale Avenue near Prospect Street. According to police, a witness reported seeing a car pull over and speak to a teenage girl. The victim reported the incident to police shortly after and said the suspects did pull over and ask her to come over to the car, but she did not.

At 6:55 p.m., a Melrose man reported three vehicles and tools were stolen from a garage he rents on Draper Street.
At 9:38 p.m., a 7-11 clerk reported being the victim of a possible phone scam.
At 9:49 p.m., Charles Hagerty, 49, of 748 Waltham in Lexington, was arreste and charged on two outstanding warrants. Hagerty was taken into custody after police observed him in the On the Border parking lot, hiding behind cars in an unlit portion of the lot.
At 11:51 p.m., police were called to Montvale Avenue for a report a domestic dispute.
Sept. 10 –
At 1:09 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute. According to police, the officers spoke to both involved and said the argument stemmed from concern over one’s well being.
At 1:57 a.m., police and fire responded to a car fire on Main Street. .
At 3:49 a.m., police responded to Carter Street for a report of a domestic incident. Police reported that someone had kicked in a door on Carter Street during an argument.
At 9:48 a.m., a Woburn woman reported being the target of harassing messages on Facebook.
At 10:18 a.m., a Woburn man reported his wallet taken from his unlocked car while it was parked on Main Street.
At 4:06 p.m., police forwarded information given to them by a resident regarding a threat in Maine to the Maine State Police.
At 5:18 p.m., a Woburn man reported receiving several harassing text messages.
At 6:44 p.m., police received a report of drug activity. Police are investigating.
Sept. 11 –
At 3:55 a.m., police responded to Liberty Avenue for an open 911 call. According to police, dispatch could hear screaming in the background, but no one talking into the phone. When the officer arrived, he found that two 18-year-olds were arguing because one wanted to play video games while the other wanted to watch television. Police assisted the family in coming to a mutual agreement.
At 4:35 a.m., police responded to a report of a fistfight between two men on Church Street. The men agreed to stay away from each other.
At 7:48 a.m., police assisted a resident with an emergency restraining order request.
At 12:16 p.m., Amisadai Carrasquillo, 31, 12 Burlwood Lane, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (handgun). Carrasquillo was taken into custody after police responded to a report of loud screaming in the area of Loker Lane. Witnesses told police that an argument occurred between Carrasquillo and another person. It was alleged that Carrasquillo had a firearm during the argument.
At 6:52 p.m., a Garfield Avenue woman reported her snowblower stolen from the side of her home. A neighbor told police, a short, stocky man attempted to put the snowblower onto a pick-up truck bed. When he was unable to, the witness said, he called someone who arrived on scene and helped remove the snowblower. Police said the witness believed that the snowblower removal was authorized.
At 11:30 p.m., a woman reported two of her car tires slashed while she was parked at a Salem Street apartment complex.
