Power Outage Hits 11% Of Eversource Customers In Woburn
Arcing wires on Cedar Street appear to be the cause of the power outage.
WOBURN, MA -- The power is out for about one-in-10 Eversource customers in Woburn. According to the utility, 2,231 of its 20,560 custoers in Woburn are without power. There is no timetable as of yet for when electricity will be restored.
The affected area includes Woburn Memorial High School, and the cause appears to be arcing wires on Cedar Street.
