Residents Eligible For Scholarships Sponsored By Waste Management
Three $1,000 higher education scholarships are being offered by Waste Management, the city's trash hauler.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn residents are eligible for higher education scholarships sponsored by Waste Management, the city's trash hauler.
Three $1,000 scholarships are available to residents enrolled in a two-year or four-year university or college, a trade school or the U.S. Military. Applications are due July 30, and recipients will be randomly selected on July 31.
Applying consists simply of sending your name, address, contact telephone number and confirmation of enrollment in the any of the above-mentioned higher education institutions to Waste Management Scholarship, c/o Mayor Scott Galvin, 10 Common Street, Woburn, MA 01801.

Waste Management has been the city's curbside trash and recycling pickup company for the last decade.
