Middlesex County Sobriety Checkpoint Planned for This Weekend
The checkpoint will be operated during varied hours in Middlesex County this coming weekend.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MA — The Massachusetts State Police will be holding a sobriety checkpoint in Middlesex County this weekend.
State Police announced Tuesday that the checkpoint will be held thanks to a grant from the Highway Safety Division of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety. The checkpoint "will be operated during varied hours, the selection of vehicles will not be arbitrary, safety will be assured, and any inconveniences to motorists will be minimized with advance notice to reduce fear and anxiety," wrote State Police.
The exact location(s) of the sobriety checkpoint are not announced by State Police.
