Sara Ann Silva, 39, Formerly of Woburn

Sara brought into the world her wonderful son, Adam, to whom she was tirelessly devoted.

WOBURN, MA—Sara Ann Silva passed away at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester, Monday, June 13 at the age of 39. Sara was the beloved daughter of Bernice M. White and Jerry Silva.

Born in Twentynine Palms, California, she lived there for a brief time while her Dad was serving in the United States Marines. Upon completion of his service to our country, her family returned home to Woburn. Several years passed and then Sara and her Mother moved to Athol.

It was there that Sara attended school, and graduated from Athol High School, along with the Class of 1995.

She enjoyed the beach front as often as possible, yet her true passion was of being the "Queen of Shopping". Sara's greatest joy came from being among family and friends.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed being a totally free spirit. She shared a tremendous love for her grandmothers, “Nana Mo” and” Nana Shirley” ,as well as her adoring and caring Aunt Dee. With a huge and loving heart, Sara shared her sensitivity and kindness with all of whom she came in contact.

Sara lived her life with much zest, frivolity and fun. Loving her son and family with all she had, she enjoyed life to the fullest, every day, in her own special way. Her smile and contagious laughter was her trademark ,for she lit up the room with her humor.

Sara is lovingly survived by her parents, Bernice White of Leominster and Jerry Silva and his wife Jan of FL; her son, Adam Chamberlain of Leominster; her sisters Amy Cardoso and her husband Rocky, Amanda Silva all of Woburn and Andrea Silva of Dracut; her aunts and uncles, John Silva of FL, Joe Silva of Wilmington, Joanne Silva of FL, Deborah DeLuca and her husband Joseph of NH, Deborah Walles and her husband William, Keith Madore, Master SGT Bernard J. Madore Jr., all of NH, Thomas J. Madore and his wife Lisa of Tewksbury. Sarah is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours Friday, June 17 at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn 4-8 p.m. Internment is private. Donations in Sara's memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association National Office, 222 S. Riverside Plaza Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60606.
