SCI to Hold Woburn Holiday House Tour & Wine Tasting this Sunday

The annual Woburn Holiday House Tour to benefit Social Capital Inc. is coming up on Sunday, December 10th, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. This enchanting holiday event allows guests the opportunity to share holiday cheer with neighbors and friends while touring some of Woburn’s most interesting and festively decorated homes. You won’t want to miss it!Tour goers also have the option to conclude the day’s festivities with a wonderful wine tasting open house, with the tasting led by Jen Murray of The Urban Chef. The wine tasting event is being hosted by Joanne Mulkerin at her J. Mulkerin Realty office from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The event will include a lineup of at least 5 wines to try, along with a variety of appetizers. Tickets for the house tour are only $20; tickets for the tour plus Holiday Wine Tasting open house are $40. You may also purchase a ticket for just the Holiday Wine Tasting for $25. A limited number of House Tour tickets will be available for purchase starting at 1:30 p.m. on the day of the tour at NuPath (147 New Boston St, Woburn, MA 01801) where you will have the chance to enjoy refreshments and view their festively decorated lobby as they celebrate 50 years of working towards their mission of helping those with disabilities live with dignity, joy, and self-respect within their communities.

This year's holiday house tour will include 5 homes in addition to the NuPath building. In SCI’s planning for this event they have run into many Woburn homeowners who are currently undergoing renovations but have shown great interest in being on the tour in the future. Due to this, SCI plans to hold another house tour in 2018 instead of skipping a year as they normally do. People who attend this year’s tour will receive five dollars off of their ticket price for next year so as not to miss the new houses anticipated in 2018.
