SCI Horn Pond Concert Series Concluded Last Friday

Since 2004, SCI coordinated concerts in Woburn that are free to the public. The 2024 SCI Concert Series wrapped up on Friday, August 30.

The final Social Capital Inc. (SCI) Horn Pond Summer Concert at Ice House Park was Friday, August 30 featuring Ashanti Eva Davenport and her band, Soul Tribe. They filled the evening with the smooth sounds of R&B and soul, entertaining nearly 125 guests.

Since 2004, SCI has coordinated concerts in Woburn that are free to the public. This summer, the concert lineup included One Moe Time, sponsored by Lamacchia Realty; School of Rock Burlington, sponsored by School of Rock Burlington; Irish Whispa, sponsored by Winchester Savings Bank; and Ashanti Eva Davenport.

The 2024 summer concerts were held on various Friday evenings at Ice House Park (along Sturgis St.). Many guests enjoyed the concerts with a picnic, and some guests made new connections with their neighbors. In addition to free music by Horn Pond, activities for youth including bubbles, chalk, and rock painting were available.
