Scoreboard Bar & Grill To Reopen Later This Month

You've probably already noticed that over on 15 Middlesex Canal Parkway has been closed down since June 26.

The bad news? It won't be open again until July 29.

The good news? Scoreboard is currently under-going some major improvements.

“Renovation plans call for a completely redesigned interior, featuring a more upscale look, greater customer comfort, as well as a state-of-the-art audio visual system," according to a statement from the restaurant. "Sixteen additional giant screen plasma TVs will be added. The plans also call for 4 VIP booths which will feature individual 3D televisions.” 

Frank Vento, the general manager of the Holiday Inn, which is connected to the bar, added, "Scoreboard will have a whole new look and new menu offerings.”

"Our customer is everything," said Nathan Amaral, general manager of Scoreboard. "We are excited to improve upon our popular north of Boston dining and entertainment venue, offering our customers a fresh new experience in a soon-to-be-unveiled spectacular environment. The restaurant's updated new look will have local diners, sports enthusiasts and live music fans discovering the Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill as their top choice."

Executive Chef Carlos Gutierrez was quoted as saying, “We have been talking to our customers about the types of foods they would like to see on our new menu, the culinary team has been focused on perfecting recipes for items that our customers have requested to add to the favorites on our current menu.”
