Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Middlesex County

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect through 8 p.m. Tuesday for towns and cities located within Middlesex County, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.

Storms could bring heavy rain, hail, strong-to-damaging winds, lightning and flooding. Residents are urged to remain indoors and away from windows.

Forecasters says they “cannot rule out a possible tornado.”

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 89 degrees.
