Friday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m.: After-hours Beatles listening party. The WPL is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ legendary concept album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, by cranking it up to eleven. We partnered with local innovators, U-Turn Audio (they make awesome turntables for audiophiles), to bring you an evening of sound. This is our first vinyl listening party, and we’re diving deep—song by song, and in order—the way the Fab Four envisioned it. This event is open to all ages, but might be most appreciated by those 12 and up.
