No Reported Injuries After Shots Fired On Hill Street In Woburn

Police were looking for a pick-up truck seen fleeing towards Stoneham or Interstate 93 Monday evening.

WOBURN, MA -- Woburn Police were looking for a pickup truck after responding to a report of shots on Hill Street Monday evening. Shortly before 6 pm, police received multiple calls of a noise that sounded like gunshots fired on Hill Street, which runs adjacent to McDonald's on Montvale Avenue towards the Kraft Foods plant. Canine units from the Arlington and State Police Departments were called in to search.

By 8 pm police were still searching the area "to make sure we aren't missing anything," a police source said. At that point, according to the police source, no shell casings had been located and police had not identified any witnesses. No injuries had been reported.

Earlier reports suggested that the sh0ts had been fired at the McDonald's. The police source said that those reports were inaccurate.
