Showcase Cinemas Woburn Completes Renovation Project; Adds Full Bar

Showcase Cinemas Woburn announced on Monday the completion of the second phase of its theatre renovation project. The project includes a full bar offering specialty cocktails, beer and wine selections, a gourmet coffee station, cozy seating arrangements in the lobby, private screening rooms and a dedicated party room.

The theatre’s new premium bar offers an extensive menu of specialty and handcrafted cocktails, including the Sangria Long Islander, Mango Margarita and the Pomegranate Berry Lemon Crush made with premium spirits, homemade mixers and fresh fruits and berries. In addition to the cocktail offerings, the new bar also features seasonal craft beers on draft, bottled beer and wines by the glass.

“The addition of the bar at our Woburn location is very exciting and offers a truly unique movie-going experience,” said Amber Stepper, vice president, marketing & advertising, National Amusements, in a news release. “Patrons will now be able to order cocktails, beer and wine at the bar and bring them into the theatre to enjoy during the movie in the new, fully-reclining, premium seats.”

The gourmet coffee station, which is also part of the theatre’s latest enhancement, serves an assortment of Starbucks coffee, including seasonal favorites such as the pumpkin spice latte and white chocolate mocha. The theatre also now features private screening rooms available for intimate gatherings, and a designated private party room, available for birthday parties and other social events.

Phase one renovations were completed in June, and included seat upgrades in each of the theatre’s 14 auditoriums, new flooring throughout the spillways and main lobby, and a fully re-designed concession stand, featuring expanded menu options.
