SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Enjoy the "Songs of Summertime" as performed by the Living History Guild Singers at the Woburn Historical Society Thursday night. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and last for approximately one hour. The event is free and open to the public.  The singers will perform songs from various time periods that celebrate summer. There will also be a sing-along with music from the 1950s and 1960s. The is located at 7 Mishawum Road, with parking available behind the building. There is also a baseball exhibit on display at the mansion.  The Living History Guild Singers are: Clare Hurley, Maureen Vallis, Darlene Wigton and Jeff Workman.
