State Medical Examiner On Scene In Woburn

"The community is not in any danger," a Woburn Police spokesman said of the incident, which was described as a medical issue.

WOBURN, MA -- Woburn Police were offering few details on why a state medical examiner's vehicles were on Mount Pleasant Court Monday evening, saying only it was related to a "medical issue" and that the "situation is over." The Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner investigates the cause and manner of death for deaths that occur under violent, suspicious, or unexplained circumstances.

"The community is not in any danger, situation is over," a Woburn Police spokesperson said in an email to Patch. "Strictly a medical issue, all details are protected by HIPPA. Nothing further will be released."
